My name is Jeff Dodig, a former professional baseball player and telecom broker, my passion in life is helping other people and drawing out the best in people.

I went to Saugerties High School in Saugerties, NY and my high school and college years were centered around baseball. I graduated at Winthrop College in Rock Hill, South Carolina with a bachelors of science in marketing. After graduating, I got drafted by the Atlanta Braves and played for a couple of years in their farm system, starting for the Durham, Bulls. I’m sure you have seen, or at least heard of, the movie “Bull Durham” with Kevin Costner and Susan Sarandon? Well, the year that Bull Durham came out is the same year that I began playing for the Bulls.

Jeff Dodig: The Real Bull Durham

Everyone wanted to know who the real Kevin Costner was on our team. Well, your looking at him. There’s a lot more to that story, however. When we get to know each other better, I will tell you about it! One of my highlights that year is when my Dad came down to watch me play and they were premiering that movie at a local movie theatre in Durham, NC. It was a blast! In the Braves system, I went from a suspect to a prospect, but Hammering Hank (Hank Aaron), didn’t think so, and I got released in 1988.

Life After Baseball

I started a painting business, but concluded that scrabing was not my cup of tea. During that time, I was presented a business opportunity by a buddy of mine. I didn’t know anything about business, people or network marketing – I had to learn it all from the ground up. But I remember the message behind the business and that was, “the freedom of being in business for yourself, working smart and helping other people”. Although I didn’t have a clue of what I was doing, I got excited about the possibility of being FREE. I reached a high level in that business, but the business went thru a lot of changes and gradually went thru horizontal growth. It lost it’s WOW factor.

During that time, I got married, God sent me a beautiful wife and started my family. Besides my relationship with Jesus Christ, my family is the most important thing to me. I have four incredible children and there is never a dull moment in the Dodig household.

Network Marketing and Corporate Sales

Over the last 10 years, in addition to Network Marketing, I’ve been a top producer in 3 different telephone companies. I went from account executive, to senior account executive, to regional manager, to regional market manager. The bottom line? I have created well over $300,000/month in total revenue for the companies that hired me. I have received many promotions, but when it’s all said and done, those 3 companies either went out of business due to poor management, they were taken over or downsized (lay offs).

I realize that’s the ticket I bought, so no complaints. You know that going into a job, there is always a RISK – especially in today’s economy. But I have decided, once and for all, that will never happen to me again, no more!! When I make money I want to look at it and say, “this isn’t going to an employer, it’s going to MY FAMILY.” That’s final!! I hope you like that idea. Because if you do, you and I will get along well. I am looking for you – someone who is competitive, who want to name his or her own price and that is determined to get it done.
